Another hobby that takes up a lot of my time is collecting Japanese animation.  I have a good collection of licensed DVDs and VHS tapes, and a giant collection of "fansubbed" anime in various computer media formats.  For a long time I tried to keep a list of my collections.  But then I got a cable modem and a Sony Viao computer with a big hard drive and a DVD burner and now I am piling it up faster than I can list it, much less watch it!  I picture myself someday, toothless in a nursing home, finally catching up on all my anime viewing!  Maybe by then I will have learned to understand the Japanese language.

Groups where we talk about the series we enjoy and share fan art and fan fiction.  This hobby has put me in touch with people all over the world and has been a great way to make new friends online.
